I'm really proud to announce the beta release of blobble.net a social networking site built around sharing the places, journeys and events that you think are really worth letting people know about.
Blob's can be places, events, people, and even objects!. You can befriend any type of blob and each blob has its own shoutbox, blog, albums, map and tags. To the right of each blob are our recommendations, made on both keyword matching and on geographic proximity.
We really think this site will help you discover the local side to places you're planning to visit, or those hidden gems just round the corner. Blobs recommended to you by your friends will be contextual and thus have more value than a simple tourist guide. For example I love camping that's a bit wild and basic but with a great ambience - so I would recommend Las Arenas Camping in Spain as a great North coast campsite!
Blobble is based on top of Joomla 1.5, the social networking components and modules were all developed by myself and Pete Fry. The site design was done by Sam Murphy

We've just finished the beta of Folio 11, a site aimed at photographers and visual artists who want a simple and intuitive means of displaying their portfolio on-line.
The part of the site where users edit and create their portfolios provides an intuitive interface with drag and drop image placement and Ajax uploading of images and storing of settings.

GNG Search's web site has been updated to the lastest version of Joomla, and has had a template overhaul to keep it's style in line with that of its sister site www.grahamgill.com
The finishing touches have just been put to a new logo for Rheo Activ. They needed a brand which suggested strength and solidity.
The font face, colours and rhino were choosen to give the desired effect.
We've found the time to update Whitecliff 4x4 Off Road Driving Center to our favorite content management system - Joomla!
The site design was done by the fine people at Chilly Design, xhtml template and integration were done by Pollen 8.
Of special interest for Joomla users is the addition of two new mambots for mosForms, one for rendering forms in content pages(note this no longer requires f_open_url or similar hacks to work) and the other for rendering tables inside content.
Both mambots currently require the lastest SVN version of mosForms to work, which we're beavering away to get out as a new release!
We've just moved www.historic-cotswolds.co.uk over to the latest version of Joomla, our preferred content management system
Perhaps the coolest part of this site is the custom google maps code we've written for it. This component allows you to bridge any set of data to a google map. It allows the use of custom icons, clicking on which take you to the corresponding section of the website. View the Historic Cotswolds Map.

The brainchild of former BBC news reporter and presenter, Mark Johnson, Biznewsme's primary goal is to give you, the news hungry business consumer all the information you need in a timely manner, an easy to digest format and free of clutter and jargon.
Pollen-8 designed biznewsme.com's template in CSS an XHTML, set up and installed Joomla CMS and integrated phpAdsNew into the site.
